PSA Genova Pra’ is an integral part of the local Port Community System and is interconnected with the EPORT system, promoted by the Port System Authority of the Western Ligurian Sea.

An interactive site is available for direct terminal customers that offers various functions, including tracking & tracing of containers and extraction of reports.

In addition to the SMS service already implemented several years ago, the PSA Genova Pra’ terminal has developed a new application for IOS and Android smartphones to check the status of containers being delivered or collected.

The app allows freight forwarders, transport companies, shipping lines and individual drivers to better organise their journeys. Through the app, the interested parties will also be able to obtain information on the status of the landing operations of an Import ship, the ships in Export acceptance and know any restrictions on the acceptance of empty containers. 

The new software is part of the plan for technological innovation and digitisation of port procedures that the terminal is carrying out to be ever closer to customers and stakeholders. 


In order to facilitate the work of road hauliers, a new monitor has recently been installed outside the Cargo Office. Up-to-date information on access queues and information messages of various kinds are shown on the monitor. The haulier can thus wait in his vehicle until he receives an SMS message or a push notification.
